Anyone know a link to where you can get cams for a x12xe? i've searched and got nothing i heard Dbilas do them.

yeah i probably won't do it, but just looking. what's the extra weight of a 1.6 16v engine compared to a 1.2 16v engine 20kg or something?

Exhaust and modified airbox on mine, that's more than enough for me, when I want something quicker, I will be removing the x12xe, definately not tuning it

1.2 16v's can technically rev the fastest because they have the lowest stroke i think!?
is there any sites?

Technically its the mean piston speed that affects how high an engine can rev.

but they have the smallest displacment so your instantly at a disadvantage

There are other things other than the stoke that effect how the engine will rev, the cams, valve size, cylinder head design and inlet manifold design are bigger factors in how an engine will perform at higher revs.

All of these factors are not there for big power in a 1.2, its just not what it was designed for
