How do you manually install drivers for an MP3 player that isnt recognised when you plug it in 
Says the drivers arnt installed, but i cant seem to install the fuckers

Windows XP Home if that matters.

Didn't you get a disc with the mp3 player? usually the drivers are on a disc or floppy disc,

Got a disc, all that is on it is the samsung music suite.
Ive uninstalled it and re-installed it thinking that might help, it doesnt.

Its a samsung YP-U3
Im downloading some MTP thing from the microsoft website cant find much of anything to help

Downloaded the firmware upgrade from samsung website, and it still isnt bloody recognised

Downloaded and updated the file stuff on the MP3 player. Got the programs off the Samsung website, but still nothing
When i plug it in, it makes the noise that it does when you connect something via usb, just doesnt show up or recognise it.
Any ideas please

Are the USB ports working 100%? Should automatically pick it up, are you on XP?

They work cause im plug/plugged camera and exHDD into them.
Plus it makes that "bling/boing" noise when i plug MP in

Have you checked 'My Computer' and tried clicking on any removable drives?

Yep.
Tried looking on Control Panel > add new hardware too. Its there, but just comes up saying "drivers arnt installed for this device"

Won't solve it, but you'll feel better 
I'm stumped then, whenever it does it to me I just have to go to the Removable Disks and it works. Have you tried it in another computer?

Yep, it works on everything BUT my laptop. Which yeah, isnt a problem, but i dont have all the other computers at uni with me  i only have my laptop.
