Hi,
I have a budget of £400-£500 I want to spend on a full rollcage. I know this topic has been covered a million times but I haven't found an answer to the questions I've got.
Firstly is which do people recommend from a safety / form & fit point of view (car will be used for trackdays and unlikely to be competition)
Im currently looking at the OMP (£350) and the Custom Cages multi point (£405) anyone had experience of these?
And secondly:
Is there any benefits from having a "Weld in" cage as opposed to the "Bolt in" versions? As I don't mind the extra effort of welding it in, its just if I ever break the car I won't be able to sell the cage on very easily.
Cheers for any advice / help
Neil

After seeing the OMP one its good, but the off the shelf cages seem to sit so far away from the b pillers etc, ive got a custom cage welded in and its good, and will be having it added to soon
rob lee had an off the shelf cage, which was good, might be worth asking

i'am getting the 10point bolt in cage for my rally car, you can get them for £299 and i'll probably weld in more triangulation into it at a later point for more stiffness.

Its a 10 Point bolt in OMP and is a pretty good cage, I cant fault it. I especially like the way it bolts to the B pillars.
