Its a horrible thing that has happened and puts football into perspective, the picture of him and his family in the paper yesterday makes it sink in.
I think it was the correct desicion to cancel it, was looking forward to the game because we have put in some good performance's recently but it can be played anytime.
Certain members of both squads who played with Phil wouldnt be able to concentrate on the match, Scott McDonald & Lee McCulloch mainly.
RIP to him and my thoughts are with his family

IMO all games should have been cancelled. Dundee UTD vs Hearts yesterday was a shambolic game to be played and it appears to have reflected.
Guess we'll find out next week when the game is to be played. IMO squads should stay the same - by that i mean any new signings wont be able to play

i can understand the horific tradegy of losing a player, its still shocking to think about!
but i believe he would of wanted to the games to go a head with a minutes appalause to remember him by!!
but i can also understand some of the players being greiving for their lose!!

its obvious FFS as i said i dont feed into the paranoia game
Phil played for celtic people in the squad knew him
motherwell current player
gretna obviously not going to play at fir park
but the dundee utd team next to motherwell felt the most pain the guy died on the same pitch as them
noel hunt tried to catch him and lee wilkie put him in the recovery position i think they must have been affected
therefore the spl are a bunch of bumbling idiots
