I dont understand about specs of PCs etc, but I want something cheap that will be used for Internet, backing up and watching DVDs , i want it to be able to be plugged into an LCD TV or Projector. I just want the tower dont need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. Any suggestions?

Do you have anything to upgrade atm ior are u starting from scratch?
If you already have a tower all you need is a TV with a PC input (VGA) and then you use the VGA cable to connect the TV to the PC job done

You can't go too slow if you want to play movies. I got one of these and put a larger hard drive in it.

Do you want to build one from scratch or would you rather just buy one and be done with it until it breaks down in a years time and then nt have a clue how to fix it so buy a new one again?
(im not biased its the truth )

I must say actually Ian for £110 that isnt bad for the money! Especially with the hassle of fitting components and wiring it all round inside such a small case

Ian, how loud are these systems when watching a movie?
The computer i've currently got in as a media centre is too loud and i want to replace it with something else.
