Hi peeps, i joined a while ago and added a photo of my car. But, thought i would show what work i have done up to now on a buget (poor student reason why )

As a 18 year old with his first car i made many mistakes first up was spraying my rear lights.

next up was a rear light swop

Then i visited exhausts UK for a new pipe, some may think its on the large side, but i think its ok ishhh lol

Then a very big mistake! a F5o style bonnet

I then purchesed my best buy, Cav GSI alloys in gray with a silver lip and i love them

They stupid bonnet then went in favour of the origional, wise choice one feels

Well last night i went to a cruise in ponty, so thought i would take some pics of her today this morning while she is clean ish, we went on the motorway in the rain on our way home

Cheap fake angel eyes

German style pressed plates

The wheels

cheeky little sticker

My future plans are deffently a 40m drop, and maybe standard lights. What do people think?

Also maybe a black roof and black GSI spoiler. All commets welcome, cheers mark

Other than that its spotless

Wheels look good
Standard rears would look better imo.

Loss of the additional stickers in ear windows was also a good step

Get some 20mm spacers on those rear wheels so they come out to the arch and that will look

Don't like Cav GSi wheels but that simple little silver lip makes them look 10x better.

Just needs the rust spot sorting on the bonnet then looks a very clean car

never thought about spacers before, to be honest i am not familar with them. How much would a set come in at?

Yer the wheels look great, cannot take the credit for them tho, the lad i got them off did all the work

that bit of rust on bonnet is the only bit on the car and it does my head in

Cheers for the comments, finallygot it lowered.

Well we started yesterday by fitting some springs that charley boy already had fitted on some shocks only to find out they where for a red top conversion. This made the car sit even higher than standard even though they where a 40mm drop, but due to them being stiff, to take the weight of a heavy engine.

Luckly he had another set of normal 40mm springs, so after a trip to buy some spring clamps and re-fitting them to my normal shockers we where done.

Took a few pics today, not the best and i dont think they show how low it actually is. Could also do with a wash lol:

Love the car mate, welcome to the Cav slab club

Only things I would change if it were mine would be stock lights and remove stickers

And a replacement badge for the front grill.

The Cav slab club haha love it

Yer i have got some new standard lights but i dont have the screws to fit them. As the chav black ones are fitted with nuts and bolts. When i took the old standard ones out iv miss placed the screws

Finding it real hard to get any that are the right length and thickness. Anyone have any ideas other than going to a scrappers?

cheers
