I am thinking FK's at around 340!

is there any spring and dampener set up which will rivel them?

Looking at around 300-350!

not FK's

dont be wowed by coilovers, much better to get a top of the range fixed kit, rather than bottom of the range coilovers

decent dampers like bilstein etc and 250lb or 300lb front springs coilovers are pretty pointless for a road car unless it's to be used on th track.

For £350 I can do a full bilstein kit with the correct poundage springs. have done a few sets for people on here now and always had good feedback.

for £495 I can do a full Gaz coilover kit designed specially for the XE corsa.

As for FK, I would never sell them due to quality and durability problems.

My friend had a tarmac rally kit bought from Dave, and they are the bollocks. Really, really good ride, firm but not too stiff. Handle really well.

I wouldn't bother going for coilovers. For top of the range fixed rate money, you will be buying bottom of the range coilovers.

How low can you go on a decent bilstein kit, is 60mm the max?

50mm is about the best compromise betweem ride quality and handling, suprisingly comfortable actually.

Thanks for the good reports on my bilstein kits, proves the point I make so often about spending the right money on a good quality fixed rate kit vs a budgetr coilover kit.

I say it time and time again Dave. In my opinion you really can't beat the Billies.
