I think he is trying to make the point that 90% of cosworth engines are in excellent condition cars, where as 90% of the cav gsi and calibra's etc are worth fixing as they only cost a few hundred quid to but can be costly to run so the engine is the only useable part. The rest get scrapped

Not the 90% i've seen Half of them are complete rotters and mostly thrashed to sh1t. Its only the serious owners that keep them in quality condition.

And theres many many crashed Cosworths How can anyone moan about an engine transplant for one of these is quite comical. Its a peice of f-ing metal that makes a car move, not exactly something mental like say a Jag XJ220 engine, with two turbochargers, and a supercharger, and 830bhp, for £35k....... Its just a turbo'd 4 pot ford lump, same as the LET is just a turbo'd 4 pot vauxhall lump.

That reminds me, I need to call the Truck Stock racing series, and a lot of mini owners, and lots of grass track racers etc...

Tell them Vauxhall want their redtops back for vauxhalls

Is he? How did you make that from the same thing I read. It was specific to Ford. No mention of Vauxhall at all? He did not even say Cosworth. LOL

Nice one. Seen it run at York, was very quick, had Postman Pat written down the side with the white pen then.
