Ok guys, my problem is i'm just starting to think about modifying.
I have a 1.2 8v red corsa (after lots of t-cut/wax)
I dont have a clue where to start was thinking alloys first? Dont wanna go along the chav route. so er help?
Any ideas where to start or which alloys will fit without arch mods?

Just think, subtle.
De-badge, Badgless grill, alloys ( anything bigger than 16/17 look silly imo!) Full exhaust, door sills.

De-badge, Badgless grill, Vauxhall or motorsport alloys ( anything bigger than 15/16 look silly imo!) exhaust backbox, lowering (40 mm for handling, 60 mm for looks).
I corrected all the bits I think should be.
Remember, no point going for a full exhaust system on a 1.2 8v - just throwing money down the drain for no more power.
What year is the car mate?

very accurate comments. its what i've done! (if you ignore the bodykit)
wheels are always the biggest and bets mod you can makr for transforming the cars looks imo, choose wisely and not bigger than 15/16 as stated.
take into account how much you want to drop by when choosing wheels too, easier to drop 60 on 15s than 16s!
need pics!

Drill the airbox and stick a K&N panel filter in there for that little bit of induction noise.

dont cause problems persay, it just means shit loads of air gets in and it runs rich as fook.... have put a standard air filter back in mine now with the drilled air box and its runnign a lot nicer
also astra GSI rims look the bom..... well i think they do

i got the same car mate, 1.2 8V, with mine ive debadged it, changed steering wheel for a custom vaxhall racing wheel, lowered 40mm, cold air feed and drilled air box, just bought some 15" cav wheels in gunmetal to go on, thats pretty much all im doing. mines white with standard bumpers, going to get a front splitter to go on. Just keep your bumpers and arches nice and black, they look pants when faded.

looks very nice mate, i still need to back black my bumpers, been meaning to for months
About the induction cone filters ive found they only f**k up your car if its 1.0 12v as it break the AFM to being a 1.2 8v should be fine for a cone or a drilled airbox (in my experience anyway)

I decided it's time to move on from the corsa world and venture into the relms of renault.
Clio handles so sweet with a nice gear box, still love the corsa though!
Here's a pic of new and old.
