hey al in need of some help ive got myself an 04 plate corsa sxi, thing is ive got a light up on the dash a car with a spanner ever since the other day my speedo went up and down like made and now sits a 0 sometimes it'll move but ony up to 10mph max, was wondering what the fault could be ive heard it could be the clocks, the battery, the alternator or even th belt any help would be grateful

could be clocks but try a new speedo censor  same thing happend to mine!
New speedo censer solved it . literally a 5 min job!

could be as phi said and be the VSS
im suspecting the C's have electric speedo's?
if they do try checking all the earths you can see as this can cause problems... more than likely the Vss tho

i cleaned both sensors up at the front but its still buggering around, theres no chaffin or rubbing would a computer tell me which one?

tech 2 will tell you your fault mate costs 59.95 to have a tech 2 test at my work

we cleaned mine aswell, no luck either....
buy a new censer, put it on, if it works then that solves it! like i said its 5 min job.
