hello,
looking at a pair of PCD: 4x100 ET 35, i know the offset is a long way out from ET 49, all the deepdish alloys i like maximum offset i can find is ET 35. My car is lowered 60mm on a gmax lowering kit (springs and shocks). Anyways, i was wondering if i was to get a set of ET 35 alloys; what would be the best width 6J, 6.5J, 7J, 8J with what rim diameter 14", 15", 16" for least rubbing problems?
thanks, josh

Obviously the smaller the diameter and width and profile of tyre the less chance your going to get scrubbing problems. Sorry I can't be more help.

14" with low pro tires shouldn't touch arches (might not scrub with rear passengers)
would work with sport brakes but not 2.0s
15" will be TIGHT. ET37 is kissing the arch plastic. (but you can flare the lip slightly with a rubber hammer type thing) 165s would help massively tho.
16" = not much chance on standard arches.
edit: for a 7" wide rim

How about 15's with 40/45mm profile tyre? 14's are gonna look pretty small. If you look in my garage mine are 195/45/16's lowered 50mm and i've never had a rubbing issue.
