Been offerd a swap for my corsa but here is the situation! Im putting a c20xe in my car but having a nightmare finding pas bits

Blue corsa (mine)
1.4 sport
95k
mot in march
w plate
only thing that up with it is the headgasket is away

Black corsa (my mates)
1.2 sxi
67k
mot in june
w plate
there is play in the steering beleived to be the motor!(could be anything tho couldnt it?)

Heres a pic of the cars and would be keeping my wheels




Thoughts?

I would, black is a better colour, and your changing the engine anyway

looks so much nicer the black one

and you get the irmy bits too

head gasket you are looking at £400ish to fix

What about the steering on the sxi tho? iv had a shot and it does have a fair amount of play in it

Find yourself a friend whos a mechanic and have him check it out.
Could just be an easyish job like a track rod or something.

get the black one, if your swapping the engine anyway, sort the steering out whilst the engines out.
probably cheaper than the headgasket as well
