Just changed pads and drums and handbrake cables on a V-Reg Corsa Sport. The car is lowered. On the test drive the back brakes lock up when you apply pressure before the fronts do.
This has the equivalent effect of yanking up the handbrake, and I imagine wouldn't be very safe on the roads
The brakes didn't have this problem before, and we have bled all 4 brakes on the car.
What is the problem here? Do I need to take it all apart and adjust the drums? Adjust the handbrake cable?
Any help will be appreciated as I need to get this car moved

Taking it off creates a spungy pedal feel and fails mot, better off making a bracket for it.

You don't need to take it off.
Just adjust it so the back don't lock up before the front.

Have you adjusted yours? If so did you create a bracket or did you do it some other way?

I just adjusted mine, take some of the tension out of the spring and it weakes the rear brakes and sends more to the front

If it didn't do it before i'd imagine the rear bias thing is ok. Have you over adjusted the rear brakes?

How would he 'over adjust' the rear brakes which have self adjusters on them anyway?

Quite easily, wind the adjusters in the drums up too much.

Depends on how far you lower it.

You can't though as it pushes the pads out and then you cannot get the drums back on.
I always adjust them to the point that you can only just slot the drum on, that leaves you with a really low handbrake that holds on 1 click.

Maybe something to do with the handbrake cable
My brakes were crap and it was due to the handbrake cable, it was too loose. Fitted a new cable and brakes were much better
