he was reversing out of a spot - its his fault - reversing into oncoming trafic. Only way you could possibly get her is if she was on the wrong side of the road; being a car park and all, people seem to forget about the rules of the road

ask the store for video footage
If she was exceeding the (normally posted 5mph) speed limit on the car park

50/50 on that then I guess; footage would prove who moved first but to be hoenst they'l probably make you pay for your own damage to your own vehicles - so you might not ened to involve insurance if you don't want to

I always thought places such as asda car parks were private property and thus insurance was void?

if she hit you in the back, it should be her fault
just the same as if you break hard, and someone drive's up the back of you it's their fault

You need to call your insurance again, explain the situation and tell them 'I spoke to someone about it already but they was rather unclear, maybe you can shed some light and explain it to me alot clearer' blah blah.. etc etc...
just be really polite and they will be more helpful, then i guess you just sit and wait for letters stating any claims....

i think so to, but may depend on insurance policy.
i know supermarkets have signs up saying they do not take any responsibilty for theif /accidents etc... <--- something along that line anyway.

The signs are so you can't claim asda when somebody hits you.
Think of all the cars that must hit each other in car parks, would be a bit stupid if they weren't covered.
