Yeah. Ideally Alves and another wing back type for the left
I mean we could play a million formation with the payers we have, but I think that allows Gerrard, Masch and Alonso to all play where they like it best (Masch sitting, Alonso the play maker from the middle and Gerrard in a totally free role).

Yeah I'd imagine they are putting him up there, then will move him into one of the club apartments if they have one available until he gets used to the area and sorts a house out.

Yeah Possibly but it wouldn't work against every team, it would be nice to have a 'style of play' that we kept as our main style though and one which played to our key players strengths.
Wonder what rafa would think of that system? I wonder if he's thought about it?

He may of, as to me it seems strange he has gone out and paid £7m for a defender who will only be cover for Carra and Agger. It may be too attacking for Rafa though, as know he likes to form a solid defence and then attack from that so could not be to his style.
He needs to find some way to play all three midfielders though, or I think we'll be waving bye bye to Alonso soon

Yeah it would be mad being a new player in a foreign place imo
That's where we have a our weekly catch-ups in the radisson, there's normally someone in there you recognise

He is simply a mutant, much much worse than Quasimodo.
