hay all i have just put a set of coil overs on me x14xe and i have got astra gsi rims well my problem is that i cant turn the front wheels as the rims are hitting the strut, has anyone come cross this before? As its going to look crap with having stelies on the front and nice rims on the back

what coilovers have u put on u might need spacers i did on mine

a set off ebay just cheepys really,
have put me stelies back on and they are not rubbing so all good there, now im having a knocking noise from the rear when going over bumps and lil divits in the road...

Need spacers to be able to fit your Astra rims.
As for the knocking noise - Are you sure the spring is in the cup properly? and the shock is tightened up properly, top & bottom?

fronts are they are ok byt camber is out of this world...
rears will give them a tweek and see if they need tightening.

sorry for double posting but where can i get a set of spacers from as i really only need soemthing like a 4mm spacer and that will solve the problem

im off to halfods then as im already pissed off with having stelies on the front and i got home about half hour ago.....

nope im getting pissed of with this now. put a spacer on it and yeah the wheel goes round, but you cant turn the stearing wheel because it jams against the strut....
i ahve emailed the company i bought the suspension off so i can get my money back and tell them they are utterly shit at making these kits!!!!

Do the new shocks have camber adjusters? Mine rubbed on the struts and fucked a brand enw set of toyos when i first fitted them 
Mine also chattered at the back becuase I didn't put the tops back together correctly.

ok well i got a few pics of the problem.
see if anyone can tell me whats up.
pick of how close whels is to strut and the wheel is a standared 167/65/13 (cant get my gsi ones to fit

im going to take them off tomorrow and get my money back..... then i got to find somewhere where i can get a good set for not really more than £350 and they will have to cope with a c20let 
should be fun getting it to work tomorrow.... front end wash is rediculus on it

yup they are fooked.. im putting the stnadared suspension back on after work...
get my moneys back and hopefully get meself some decent coilovers..

best off geting mor expensive ones imo m8 or ul hav the same problems again halfords are useless got some wheels and aked if they were the right offset fun them on and scraped like made tires lasteds 2 weeks look 4 sum second hand spax rsx best ones av found so far handles like a dream and easy 2 ajust

bodge suspension then. if you want something to cope with a c20let get a kit that is designed for a c20let. I sell them but you wont get it for £350.
they are £495 + delivery.
