Can anyone hep me trace a reg number please.
I've just had some fuckers nick some bits off my car and I caught the reg on cctv camera.
I'm trying to find out what address the van is registered to.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
Reg is : P957 XWY
It's a white Escort Van.
Thanks.

Didn't think it would be insured.
Police won't do fuckall. They never do.
Was hoping someone may have access to a registered keepers database or similar.

alert the police to its presence, they will look out for it as its now a stolen vehicle and may recover the van and parts.

Have you even tried the police? Pretty naïve to just dismiss them if you haven't, won't take too much of your time and if it does mean they could track down the vehicle and solve your problems then surely it's worth it.
If you want to claim on insurance as well, you'll need to log it with the police as stolen I would've thought. CCTV evidence is also pretty incriminating so give them a copy.

It's a written off calibra I bought a week back. It's not insured as it's off the road and not drivable.
I don't have faith in the police as this isn't the first time this has happened, and cctv didn't help me last time.

Even if someone had the opportunity to trace a reg plate, do you really think they would risk getting caught by posting it up online? It is illegal, and would lose them there job!

Cant be that botherd if you aint going to contact the police even if they aint much of a help
Can atleast phone them and let them know so it wont happen to anyone else or ask them to keep an eye out for the van.
Police are there to do there job they dont just sit back and do nothing!
