i thought it was a shocking game, but we won, thats all that matters.

Passes were all shocking , a few players played well but most were shocking, all these world class players making so many mistakes and things, i expect better.

But as it was said rome was not built in a day, so much to work on, but then, we have nearlly 3 years to work on it

Like everyone has said in here was a good first performance, great to not see the long ball in action at every opportunity. I think england play better 4-4-2, Rooney seemed too isolated in the first half, he definitely works better with another front man, would have been great to see Abonglahor up front with him or even Defoe.

I remember the days when Rooney and Owen would take on defenders and run at them, Owen has lost a lot of his pace which is one of the reasons I guess, but with Abonglahor I reckon him and Rooney would make a great partnership.

I thought we played well tbh. It's only going to get better once Fabio can speak fluent English and get his ideas across.

IMO was an ok game. As said above there were far too many stray passes etc. But some of the forward play was decent and. apart from the goal, James wasn't troubled much at all

Brown made one mistake in the first half. Apart from that he was steady away. Bentley made a few mistakes, and there were a few players that may as well not been there. Rooney was awesome, shame he couldn't finish the night with a goal.

Got the result - thats what matters.

The capello factor will shine through.

I very much doubt looking at the current crop if i will see a world cup winning team in my lifetime.

I'm just glad we have got rid of a yes man in charge and now have someone with knowledge who isn't scared to impliment his ideas. Shame he brought Crouch on though and it will be interesting to see if he plays fat frank when he is back.

I think Crouch is worthy of his place.
