http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-16797808.rsp?pa_n=1&tr_t=buy
We have viewed it twice now, with a 3rd one scheduled for the morning.
Been in discussions for the majority of the week now about the price and it looks like we have found some common ground to proceed on.
Subject to our final viewing tomorrow, all we need to do is give the cemented offer or retract it. Should we wish to proceed - cant see why not, then it will be our first house.8)
Immediate plans would be to replace carpets and flooring throughout, paint skirts and doors and tidy the garden up a bit.
I will update this thread accordingly.
I will admit - I am cacking myself. Time to grow up

flipping eck, you don't get much for your money down where you are do you!!
How do they work out the efficiency of a house?
will you be able to strike a deal on the price?

Has to be said that back garden and conservatory look sweet though

Try living in SE London. :-/
Makes me sick looking at what properties go for further north. Bah
Edit: Sorry, house looks sound. I'd love that for a 1st house. Floor looks good?

One of the reasons i'm glad i'm northern.
A house like that round my way would probably be 40K cheaper.

Started adding to my stockpile of new stuff for the house.
Bought a new LCD for the bedroom yesterday, and made a long list of other bits needed.

Not updated this for a week or two, but the legals are progressing quickly, almost too quickly as the mortgage is yet to be tied up officially.
Lending has become quite a ballache, so there has been alot of backwards and forwards going on...
Not bought anything else recently, but have a shortlist of bed sheets and duvets, pillows etc for the second bedroom. Dining room table was delivered to my parents house this morning

Looks fab Byron, its scary how quick it can turn around. From the date i reserved mine it took little over 4 weeks to get my keys. Its amazing how much you end up spending on the little things like utensils, clocks, soap dishes etc.
Hope it all goes smoothly for ya
