Hi there,
Basically I have got an x16xe corsa sport and was wondering what would be needed if I was to put a c16xe engine in.
i.e. would the ecu, loom and sensors be ok or would they need changing?
Thanks in advance

if you want to use the c16 management, you need the afm, loom, inlet.
you can run a c16 on x16 management if you use all the x16 ancillaries

I have been considering doing this for quite a while now. As I have a perfectly good C16XE in a 94 model GSi and I want to drop it into my 95 model GSi, I was wondering the same thing about loom ect... I have all the parts from both models and didn't really know what would need to be done....and yes I have done a search on here but, just as it gets interesting and the information starts to flow the thread goes off on a different tangent .....

tbh i prefere the x16 management, as the map sensor is more helpful whilst tuning, as opposed to a afm.
