Ive broke a cv joint on my LET which was an inner CV from a regular motor factors. Used the Chris Astley ones and I seem to think they were beefier than the cheapos I had before.

Are you using the "Big" CV joint setup or corsa Gsi shafts and cav inners?

Ive never had a problem with breaking a wheel hub (touch wood) or a driveshaft.

I guess its a lot down to how hard you launch the car though, Im quite gentle in lower gears because when the wheels start bouncing while wheelspinning thats when I believe the damage happens.

Never had any problems with the bigger shafts rubbing the chassis though, what do you mean by that?

can calibra shafts be used on the conversion, or is it only custom/corsa gsi shafts that can be used?

I use corsa gsi shafts on mine, only ever broken outer cv's when ive been mashing it off the limiter round corners.

If I can run corsa shafts than anyone else can really.
