My xbox was brand spanking new in oct07
premium console
basicly played halo3 upto the last level, pissed me off so i gave up for a week. Went back to play again, got bored with it and gave up again. Didnt use the xbox then for 3weeks
turned it on to play again, loaded my saved game and found that i was back halfway through the game?! My game data was lost 
in the last week had been playing a star wars game from the old xbox on it, played through one mission monday, saved. Wednesday i picked up the saved game and carried on. Completed that mission, and the next one and started a third. Saved turned xbox360 off went to bed.
last nite turned it on, went to load game and it has reverted back to the 1st time i saved on the 1st mission lost all my progress!
wtf is going on? Why wont i save? Why is it deleting my data?
its never unplugged, im the only one who uses it, weve had no powercuts or surges its well ventilated!
what do i do?

iv seen this before, i think it will all just come back suddenly, something about it stores achievements and progress online aswell

my xbox isnt showing a picture, only sound. My years warranty is out by about 2 weeks so they want £60 to fix it. Extended warranty only covers the 'three red lights'

Im concerned that now its been logged on their system, and they know my Xbox is unusable, if it suddenly gets three red lights they will tell me to do one.

Then buy a new one from Asda and swap the consoles over. They never bother to check..... know plenty of peeps that have done it.

Googled it and there aparently were bugs with halo game saves, is this whats affected my xbox? Surely it would just do it with halo? Or has it guffed on the whole thing?

I also have another problem with my 360... the disc reader is shafted!
Everytime I play a game and pause it (I'll gor for my t) I come back to play it and I can here these scratching noises and it struggles to find where it was!?!?! It then says that the disc is dirty (even tho it could be a brand new game)
