ello everybody i know this is going to be cheaky but....
i really need a huge favour from all people who have a Let'd corsa and a XE corsa.. they have to be lagit... really lagit.
my old mad is driving me nuts and was wondering if anyone could come down to where i am or meat up and show him there is nothing to worry about with these conversions. i.e "registration doc saying its got the Let engine or XE engine" "emisions test with readout saying its passed all lagit like" and any troubbles youve had with them.
he is driving me crazy to the point its just gettign me to the end of me tether so if anyone or a couple of peeps can show him it would be great..

ha ha, there is no probs with it mate. send the paper work off to the dvla with the new engine number and new engine size, mot wise nothing to worry about when was you engine made or year of the car it came out off?

dont have a clue was going to get barter on here to get m a engine rebuild and do all the work... cant be arsed now just going to get one already done. as my dad is driving me totaly nutts........ ahh i really do feel like driving into a brick wall sometimes and just totaling the corsa so he cant moan anymore.

sent my documents off took 2weeks to come back registered as an xe an got the higher tax the same day.an mot aint a problem if you have a cat if it passed in a calibra it will pass in a corsa mine even passed cat emissions with no cat.

well im off to dorset on friday to have a look at a xe gsi, only bad thing if said was it has a tempremental tappety noise, will rattle then just stop and not happen again for a few days then might come back weather hot or cold, and its not blowing smoke, want's 2k for it.... If its new tappets needed i'll batter him down a few quid i think.

old dizzy type engine so am well expecting it to have a few taps, came out of a astra gte!

the emissions are governed by the year of the engine and not car, so it helps if you get an engine and log book to show the tester, however this is not essential.
just speak to Lee he has done many conversions and would be able to tell you what you need to do .
