That result sucks...

The worldwide vote was a popularity contest.

I need at least one other person to post a relevant reply here... I can't have athread to myself!!

I used to like NBA a lot but not so much these days. I did watch howards (he won it) dunks on youtube tho and they were pretty awesome!

think ill stay up and watch some of the game tonight, maybe

im a suns fan, and im not too sure what to make of shaqs move. I liked marion a lot, but shaqs also one hell of a force for any team. It all depends on if he's getting old and on the way out. He was sucking in miami earlier in the season but you dont know how much of that is down to injury. But everywhere hes gone hes won rings, and with stodamire and nash its one hell of a team. Ill be out there in about a month so am going to try to get tickets to see them

I dont see how miami benifit from the shaq trade.

Phoenix however do...

Amare can move back to his natual position as power forward and be able to work with Shaq around the basket. Their production in the paint will improve and Shaqs trademark backing in and turn around shot will be cleaned up with amares power should he miss. I also think Shaq will help the suns a lot on defence. The suns games are usually in triples figures, both for them, and their oppenents. They lack defensive presence, but are awesome offensively. Shaq will change that.

I dont think theyll miss Marion that much either. They have some toung talent, Bell and Barbosa, who can fill the gaps Marion has left...

The suns will win more games than they have done, but they wont be as fun to watch. nash to marion alley oops were great for the highlight reels!!

Miami havent really improved their roster with this one. I wouldnt consider them anymore of a threat than I did before. Marion is a similar player to Ricky Davis, who also plays for Miami. Itll be interesting to see how well he works with Wade. If anything, he may improve wade as a point guard. Youll see his assists increase, and become a lot less selfish on offense.

I#m, gonna do some work now...

And also change my keyboard language back to UK!!!! Some muppet has changed it on me.

The reason I wanted Green to win the dunk contest is taht I#m a TWolves fan, and we#re gonna win nothing this year, accept maybe the draft lottery!!

He needed to do something special on his very last dunk. That will have made the outcome a little less predicatable.

TBH he had NO chance in that dunk contest, Howard was just on another level than all the others tbh.

Picture the SUperman dunk, but without the cape...??

It wasn#t a great dunk... The one with the mini basket was just a windmill dunk with a prop. Not gonna argue with the tipped alley oop, or the first dunk from the base line... If Gerald has used more props, and been a more popular character, it would have been a different story.

Im glad Howard won it rather than Moon or Gay though...

Gerald did nothing better than those - minus the props - either though

The cake!!! That was genius!!

I thought his first dunk in the final was pretty good... although, you#ll never get 50 for it unless ur wearing number 23. The no shoes dunk let him down. Apart from that, I was confident hed win.
