The basis of there's was say a club in La Liga and a club in the EPL etc...

My point was everyone is a potential opponent these days 1 love, 1 club!

In the same league no. Following teams from other leagues is a differant matter. Most people have a Scotish, Spanish/Italian team.

Following and supporting are 2 different things I'd say. I support Derby but follow other clubs!

Queen of the south are my home town team and i go to a few games and always look out for them so i class myself as a fan, whereas im a rangers season ticket holder.

If it came to a cup game i would be sitting in the rangers end though.

Only one team and thats Chelsea, how can you support any more

I understand people following other teams and perhaps looking out for the results, may be fave players have left your club to another club and you want them to do well etc

I support one club.

But I look at the results of other clubs I have a soft spot for, but if they play my then I always want them to lose.

Totally agree with this. For example my friend plays for Hayes and Yeading- I ALWAYS without fail look out to see how they do, but realistically supporting another team- I'm a chelsea blue through and through
