I've just been offered a staright swap for my car!!!!
my mates had his gsi 2.0 for 3months and decided he wants a bike and wants a run around for his missus. and i get to keep my anthracite speedlines i've just got
What should i do???
i know it sounds like a no brainer but i wont get insured on it and have been looking at a fiesta zetec s i can get insured on

If you can't get insured then it's not worth thinking about. Unless as you say, you buy the Corsa, sell it with a profit, then buy the Zetec S.

I know the 2.0 is a tempting offer, but seeing as it is useless to you at the minute, the fiesta seems the sensible option.

definitely get the zetec s.

much more up to date car and lovely to drive.

a few choice mods e.g. colour coding, clear side repeaters etc will get you a very nice looking car.

not that i'm biased or anything

dont swap cars with a 'mate' and then try sell it on for profit.

But if you can't insure xe then why dont do the swap, smarten it up and buy the zetec aswell. Keep the xe as a bit of raw fun for trackdays etc..

my car isnt lookin its best atm, currently rolling on steelies and have a silver bonnet, but i get my speedlines back on tuesday
