omega? vectras are nice cars. you always seem to get nice clean cars anyway so you should get a clean one.

the 2.6 is slower than the 2.5
my mate had a 98 GSI and tbh i loved it, great all around car, but try to get one that has had the cambelt done, and head gaskets are quite often a problem, and its always on the back 3 cylenders that goes too 
theres a few omega V6's in the scrappy near me with just the head gasket gone, because all of the garages are too retarded and say they cant fix them

This is also true. Had one here with head gasket. Also had one with a snapped con-rod 
Infact i still have a box of bits from that one

I liked my old V6 SuperTouring. Juice wasn't too bad until you hoofed it, then you could get it in to single figures on the MPG calc.
Oil coolers are a weak spot, as is rust around rear arches, sills and the dear door catchs.
Awesome cars though, I'd have another tomorrow

if you get the v6 try get one thats had a new clutch we just had one fitted cheapest we found was £500 vauxhall wanted £1000 its an 8 hour job

borrowed my old mans v6 omega to go to newquay and back. was awesome! my mate went in his corsa gsi and was so jealous the whole way.lol. didnt drink too much to be fair, and i did use it for short journeys after my holiday cus i thought i may as well use it as i was insured for the month.the sound is so nice.sold that car for £800 with fvsh and 90k!
