Very common to have the EML on Go to a local garage and get it plugged in to find the fault code

1.0 12v will be either the Mass Air Flow sensor or the Crank Sensor

I think your best taking to a garage TBH

We helped imo.

We took the strain away from his car blowing up and enlightened him with some humour to see him through.
