i thought my diet wasnt good enough for protein intakle through the day and was on muscle talk website and came accross some interesting recipes one being for proteim bars. alot may have saw these or wotever, but for those who havent you should try these
200g oatmeal
5 scoops protein powder (strawberry)
80g peanut butter
2 tbsp syrup (I used honey because i had no syrup)
150ml skimmed milk
one banana
mix whey and oats
add pnb and syrup and mix until consistant
add milk slowly about 30ml at the time
mix until properly mixed and shape into a brick, put in the fridge and cut when it goes hard ish. makes 8 bars without oven baking ans taste surprisingly gd. only drawback is that they are quite sticky so next batch im gonna dip in cooking chocolate very lightly so that it seals it and you can touch it without it being so sticky
nice to eat and easy to eat and handy for lunchtimes at work etc

your meant to heat the PB and syrup in the microwave to make it more manageable first, and because of the milk don't leave them to long, try to consum within 3 days or so

Would this be something that would be useful to east as breakfast? Or just a snack?

Depends, because hes just copied and pasted (not even most of the information) your missing loads of info.
Such as how nutritional each piece is, how many calories etc. I suggest you go to muscletalk.co.uk and check the diet and nutrition section, theres loads of recipes with pics etc to. It will have all the info aswell, not just a copy and paste missing stuff

i didnt copy n paste i just summerised the main points, didnt say anything about heating the pb and syrup but could try this to help mix.
there is no diffinate breakdown of that recipe, but its easy to make and doesnt require cooking etc which is why i choose to use that.
never said it was gospel etc, just trying to help

Yeh i know mate, i wasn't aiming it at you, just sayin theres better ones on MT. They give you the nutirional break down etc, as you can make bigger bits so you can have it as a meal IF needs be, or smaller ones as snacks etc.

These are good, i've made them before and will be doing them again soon
