youd be better off with the quad core processor, the board is good my m8 has it the psu bit pricy

You could buy the E2180 and OC it if you know how..... I've read people getting 3GHz from them.
PSU is good, I have the 450w version, got reccommended it, and so glad I bought it now. The RAM is pricey though, any need for that speed RAM?

I want to build a future proof machine TBH. Will probably go for a Quad Core in the end

If you want future proof then go for a MoBo that does both DDR2 and DDR3 memory.
