even johnny j has said this, you need need 10,000 mp's to get a decent quality picture. 7.1mp's is more than enough to get a good quality photo.

just need practice and a tripod to stop the blurryness

The camera is usually always fine, it's the photographer thats at fault.

John Lewis don't sell tat so should be good for most work

One of the ones john lewis sells for 20 is a tenner at tesco.

All this "you cant take good quality photo's with less than a 10mp camera" is complete bullshit. !

I have a 5.1mp camera, and it takes amazing photo's. You need to learn how to use ISO, Aperture, When and when not to use the flash, making sure you postion what your photographing with no shadows on it, Focus....The list goes on.

Then if shot in RAW format, using Photoshop's raw editor to manipulate the photograph to look the way you want it.

I'm no where near as good as i'd like to be, but i read a lot of tutorials. Google them and see what you can change using your camera.

Not the Gorillapods thing, the 'proper' extendable tripod. Not seen it in Tesco in store or online, but doesn't mean it isn't there......

All the same, think its a bargain
