Compare technology from 10 years ago to technology today, its getting stupid now.In the future there will be less roles for human's job wise, machines will do everything. But i suppose them machines will need a human to operate them, but you never know.

Technology has come far in the past 10 years, the sort of thing discussed in here is closer to reality than it was 10 years ago when there were no robots out doing battle.
Global warming is boring, lets blame it for everything.

Show me some science that says the world will end because of global warming.
I can show examples of laser guns and robots.

The people developing the AI are moron's imo... they insist on trying to create human like AI ... which means they're trying to portray and emulate emotional states too...
What's the point in even following that train of thought? How will a robot servant be better if it feels depressed because all it does is get me coffee all day!
Yet still a lot of people are investing into emotional states for robots mainly to make them more life like.
To be honest, if a AI which could self learn and had true intelligence was ever developed, I'd be more worried about it being put onto a computer with a internet connection, than in a robot shell...
With the increase in technology and internet speeds, soon all appliances will be hooked up to the internet, more and more person data is accessible through the internet...
You imagine a Super AI, that has spread itself across millions of computers world wide... It could harness that CPU power through distributed parrellel processing techniques and not only self improve, but do things like brute force through high levels of encryption. Then who knows? trigger the nuclear strikes that'll end the world?
Fairly distant future imo, but possible... A truely intelligent AI that can self learn and spread (like a far far more advanced form of a virus) could be devastating, your bank balance reset to 0, anything with a CPU + OS being harnessed to develop itself / give itself more computational power and since it'd be distributed across the internet, it'd be imossible to kill ...

They may be able to act like humans, but this end of the world paranoya just sounds like a bad 80's/ibm/microsoft hangover
The "robot" would need to self improve? Where did it get the desire to self improve? WHY did it feel the need? A problem to solve? Or just a vendetta against the "meat sacks"

The AI is originally programmed to make it learn.

Who knows but the worry at the moment is terrorists getting hold of the stuff they already have out in the field, imagine years and years down the line and some sort of AI bot with wepons, or cable of using wepons falls into the wrong hands, and they manage to reproduce them and use them for terrorist attacks - knowing the crazy ass f*Ckers they prolly wouldnt be able to stop it.....
