I know the way they are built but if you put something up correctly it doesn't fall down.
I've got a 37" and 46" tv up on walls in a thin house but we're not idiots so they haven't fallen down yet.

I have to agree brett, afaik, correct me if i'm wrong, if people see a nice house they'll think it's nice, no matter what way its built.
If you have a shit house, old or new, it's still shit.

They are ok for a couple of shelfs fitted , but for the likes of a tv and bracket they will never hold ! Best way of doing it is cutting out a section of plasterboard and fixing a timber behind it then re-fixing the plasterboard. A lot of work you may think , but worth it in the long run.
unfortunatly that will be what they will probably have to do in about 10 - 20 years time whoever owns the house!
even if an expert came in here and said this house is made perfect, nothing wrong etc... i will drag them around to every hidden problem and see what they say then
