nice car, never heard of these before
whats the insurance like for a jap import, im looking at getting an ae86 levin coupe. prices seem ok for uk spec cars, just not sure what effect importing has on the premium.

Matt: the ones with bonnet scoops are 1.6 super charged
corsagsi: they are fairly quick. i keep comparing it to my old glanza v and thinking its slow. but im enjoyin the vvt and 8k rev limit.
Jamie: yeh they are called levins.... the levin is under the corolla name so "corolla levin" and mine is the "sprinter trueno". exact same other than diffrent bumpers.
joey: insurance isnt too much of a problem other than them not having my car on there data base. so iv insured it as a levin not a trueno. seeing they are the exact same im not overlly bothered. AE86 are more pricey to buy and i dont no the insurance. i know elephant dont insure them. if you was interested the diffrence in the levin and trueno in the ae86 style is the rear and the trueno has pop up lights and the levin dont.

paseo was a uk car i think. plus i think they look awful. i know it has a shunt in the rear but they look like that before hand. plus they only use 1.5 engines.
