Just got my new cts for my x16xe.

but it seems to have a different plug on top of it and my loom wont plug into it, the sensor is all the same?

did they make two types?

Theres 2 types as in one type for the dash and one for the ECU but the ECU temp sensors are all the same as far as i know

this is the sensor i mean, just the top of it where the plug goes is different, ie the plug on the wiring wont plug into the sensor. However it is only the plug that is different, the actual sensor is right.

Must have the wrong plug type.
I had to order one from i think a small block 1800 16v, as the ones that i was told were right for a x16xe wouldn;t fit my plug.

I got mine off ebay.

What does your old one look like?
Does it have like a round end, or is it square like the old 8v cts's?

2 kinds of plug on them one is square one is round i cant remember which is late and which is early type though
