I got one fitted (storm)

I find it's pretty decent to have as it's not very common (least not in my area)

Nah i find it take about the same 2bh as it's the same motor speed etc than it was before so theres no real difference in speed etc.

agreed

you wont notice the difference as much as you think you will

and blades dont seem to wear twice as quick even though they are doing twice the work

do most kits use one of the existing wiper with just a long blade on it?

Well kit i got (ebay = direct source of manufacturer which isin UK)

it came with the new wiperblade but uses one of the current arms on your car.

had one. Never had any difficulties with it working or not working as the case may be. Found it used to lift less at higher speeds.

Never had a problem with mine

When i had my corsa i had one. Linkage broke and wiper started to eat my custom made smooth scuttle If i was doing it all again i would stick with 2 wipers.

Had mine on my Sport.

Was an arse driving in heavy rain - cant wipe as quick.

Does look good though.

I got rid of mine. It didn't clear as much of the windscreen as normal wipers. I also had to lower my drivers seat down so I could see under the area that it did cover. Looks ok, but I prefer having bith wipers.

Would be better if a single wiper kit pivoted from the middle of the windscreen (like on Nova's and Golf's). Then you'd get a better sweep.

Having it in the middle wont pass an MOT. Fair enough its easy to change the start/finish position though.

i had one on my old corsa, the only thing i didnt like was using the existing scuttle and having the hole there, even with a grommet looks poop

ive gota storm one fitted and its more for the look of it rather than it being practical tbh
