Got a corsa thats had a bump on the front, and it needs a new slam panel! I have one on its way to me, but would ideally like to avoid the route of cutting the old one out and getting the new one welded in! So my question is...

Are they MOT passable (and will they pass a VIC check too, as car was classed as a CAT C due to it not being economical to repair)?

Is there anything else that needs to be done to the slam panel/s to make them work like "normal"? (obivously i need to make up some plates to take and secure the removable section to)

pics would be fanstaic if you have any!

I made mine removable due to the fact that turbo kind of sits there an makes working on it easier.

End of the day the slam panel adds no strength to the front all it does is hold the bonnet down.
