anyone running 15/16" rims ET40 offset on a fast road/track corsa?

Currently have ET49 cav slabs on mine, but am looking for some light weight wheels. Rota wheels seem ideal but the highest offset they do is ET40, and I don't really want to get them machined.

Has anyone gone from factory rims to ET40 aftermarket and noticed any bad side effects, or will the extra 'track' make the car handle better?

Cheers
