They will cost you from £5 to £25 depends where you get them and how well you know the staff but for the fronts you need a press to punch them in. Rear, you just need a hammer

all you need to do on the rear is to knock the old shell out of the drum aint it?

And maybe a new rear shoe fitting kit and a hub puller depending on how worn the drum is, of there is a lip then its a bastard to get off and pulls the shoes out with it

Fronts are ghey! golfs getting 2 pressed in today.
Had to replace one of the fronts on a corsa, not expensive its just finding somewhere with a press.
Rears are alot easier to do though just need common sense

To be honest after doing a few front I find them quite easy. I have a nice big socket to bash the old one out then put the hub in the oven and the bearing in the freezer, take them out after an hour or 2 then squirt wd40 round the inside of the hub carrier and the bearing drops in. then cool it under water before the grease melts out of the bearing. only need the hub at about 150 degrees, no need to bake it!

Turn the old shells round and put them over the new shells then when you hammer them in you only damage tho old ones

Funny you should say that...
When i put new rear discs on the back of the ibiza i was doing one side and the aprentise was doing the other. Just as we were finishing off he said "look, they gave you a spare wheel bearing".....I said "are you sure you put them on? As in one on the stub axle then the disc, then the other bearing?"
"You mean there is one on each side?" he said
I made him take it apart and do it all over again
