What do you mean?
Pull the red thing out of the back and check to see if the metal has broken, it has a number 10 on it

The fuse? Nope not broken, what number is the car stero on the fuse box? Might be that? Its a nice pioneer stero and it would be a shame not to keep it. Do you think it could be a possible fault inside the car stero?

did it work in the van?
are you sure you plugged it in correctly?
double, triple check
have you tried switching it on with the engine running? may need the ignition to be switched on before the unit gets power

To start with it was in a vectra? Cut out one day and would not start? Would not come on. I've tried with the ignition on, ive tried with the engine on, ive treid everything. The fuse is ok. I'm not sure what it is, its all pluged up correct. Hmm its just dazzled me lol.

I wouldnt bother taking it to someone to get it fixed, unless its a mate cos it might cost you a lot more than is needed!
i had the trouble of my stereo staying on all the time...check the two plugs that come from the ignition/battery...then check the plug from the stereo...make sure that the right pins are matching the right socket such as the permanent going to the permanent and ignition live going to the ignition live...my problem was the permanent was going to the ignition of the stereo, so it stayed on
bt soon fixed it!!
all ya need is a volt tester, small screw driver and a brain

wont make a difference I wouldnt think. As they are permanent and switchable lives so it should switch on when the engine is running what ever way round they are.
My guess would be something internal has gone pop. If you are friendly with any one in the local halfords get them to plug it into the audio board and see if it works at all.
