It's ure engine management light could mean a number of things? Mines come on before but i switched the car off then switched it back on 10 minutes later and it had gone off? aint seen it since

I drive say 10-20mins and this lights up. I'm not used to driving Vauxhalls and i dont have a clue? What does it mean and what could it be?

The management (your ecu) has detected a possible fault. Hence why its lit up with the engine running.

Chech here for how to do the paper clip test and read the fault codes
