When my car has been sat still for some time (over night for example) and then i drive it, my front driver side whee area is making a high pitch grinding noise when going 10mph or more

When i press my breaks hard, the noise goes away...it ocationally comes back early on in the journey.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

dust shield rubbing jack car up and take the wheel off (use some axle stands) have a we spin of the disk and look around shouldnt be to hard to spot the problem. Oh and dont do it just after a drive the brakes wll be very hot
