Hi all,
This had proberly been asked a million times but im going to ask it again.
My Corsa GSi has standard front brakes that are 256x20mm and as I have a pair of cav 16v calipers I was thinking of useing them but I have just measured the discs for the cav brakes and they are 256x24mm.
Would I notice any difference between the two and is it really worth changing them over?

They are thicker, so hold more heat without fading.
The calipers have larger pistons, more braking force.

So it would be worth the effort then.
I was also thinking about upgrading the the LMF 288mm Vectra V6 brakes but Im not sure if they will fit under the astra sport alloys that I have.

Depends on the design of the alloys, LMF recommend 15's or bigger I think.
And the problem with the 288s is that the calipers are that big the pedal feel is crap.
They do work very well though.

Ok so they will proberly fit ok but the pedal feel will be spongy.
If I fit the Cav calipers with black diamond grooved discs, predator pads and braided hoses will the pedal feel be good. would i need to change the master cylinder

Depends on the design of the spokes for the V6. If the spokes flare out, maybe.
The cav set up works well. If I were you i'd stick with GM discs and pads. They will work well enough.

Very good advice, when i bought my 2.0 set-up they came with some red stuff rubbish. GM parts worked much better
