Well the crout is a biscuit colour to match the colour of the tiles, the pics were taken when it was wet.

You are suppsoed to grout the whole tile afaik, to make it look like you've used millions of wee tiles.

Ha, did parts my self and got a fitter to do parts i never felt confortable doing, i.e work tops.
John - I did skim over all the tiles, i think i used to big of spacers compared to the gaps used on the tile. There is no way to rectify this now is there!?

Looks good mate!
I was thinking the 'before' pics wernt bad but the 'after' pics look great
Yea it looks like you've used too big a spacer for the wall tiles, did you use the same spacers for the floor tiles? As floor tile spacers are usually a few mm bigger
Nowt you can do about it now pal, doesn't look bad though

Ash_Corsa - cheers for the comment. The floor tiles were done before i moved in. I never thought about small spacers, but it doesnt look too bad. Will prob change them in a years time when i get board.lol.
I am not sure of the paint, but it does work with the units.

i actually prefer the tiles with the bigger spaces around them, looks better than them all the same size grout line imo

I'd have been happy with before tbh, but it's a nice improvement.
The paint works well. Could maybe do with coving at the top, or a cleaner paint line (not that you look up there very often).
I need mine doing, and not sure what to budget. Thinking around £3k, but haven't really a clue.
How much does that sort of thing set you back?

myke get down your nearest Focus and take a look at their takeaway range. Can get something for £1k for a good sized kitchen easily

myke - yeah i did notice that it does need more of a careful hand to cover the top, i hate painting.
i still am very un sure about the colour of the paint.
well the kitchen cost aroun 2.5k, with a cranit sink, extractor, work tops and units. not bad, all the units are all the same colour inside, and have thick peices of wood behind, not like a focus, homebase etc. All soft close doors etc.

A few people who have come to see the kitchen have said the same thing Personally i would have liked it smaller gaps, but i thought it would look fine once done.

I wouldnt worry about the tiles, only people familiar with tiling would probably realise!
I'm probabl;y getting another Focus Kitchen for my house i'm in now, but only because its in an area with young families etc and putting in an expensive kitchen wouldnt guarantee making much more from sale price than putting in a good looing cheaper one.

Looks nice, I like the green too
Not sure on the colour of the grout though...I think the spaces look fine, just the colour of the grout makes it look almost dirty
