Would this in any way harm my engine??
I used it about 12 months ago, and not so long after my engine started puffing out blue smoke and using oil.
Got new piston rings and valve stem seals to solve the problem.
Was it just coincidence that this happened or is there any chance it could of been due to the foam????

Off the name of it I am assuming that it is one of these 'internal cleaning' products?
Avoid it as often the crud and shite is helping to hide wear, hence why you are burning oil since.

yeah, all those bits of old shit and soot could be filling little cracks, if your engine runs ok leave it alone
