will a 1.6 16v GSi cam shafts fit in a 1.4 16v sport engine?

X14XE X16XE and C16XE share the same inlet cams but the X14XE has a different exhaust cam .
They will all fit each other but I think the X14XE exhaust cam is the smaller of the 2

which cam is the exhaust is it the one marked I or A5
and does the pulley need the big lugs on it?

cam pullys need the funny lugs on so that the Cam position sensor can read where they are....
and your exhaust cam will be the one positioned over the exhaust side...

Yeah the pulley need the big lugs on it to know when to fire the injectors for each cylinder, thats why some aftermarket pulleys are written "for aftermarket management only" because they dont have the lugs.
As richard says the inlet cam is closest to the inlet and the exhaust cam is closest to the exhaust
