Had to use my flash on manual.

1/4 was too hard, 1/8 was too little I need a better flash or lighting lamps.

Also forgot my iso was on 600! urgh.

Good job it was only a ten minute mission.

These are 2 alright photo's. Tell me what you think. Personally i dont really like them, because with big flash, you didnt get the darkness at all. I really need lamps!

The flash on the camera?

ie, not an sb600/800 just the flip up one?

yeh is just a flash.


it really isnt good for manual flash settings

Theres your problem, the flash on the cameras are fucking useless. Get a proper one

I hate flash photography.

Cant comment on free flashes. appart from when I did some studio work a few years ago.

i took some tonight, i used a makeshift lamp! mic stand and a clip on undercar light! worked ok! btw what alloys have you got on ur gti? team dynamic?

eBay or just google canon speedlite

I got my SB-800 from hong kong off ebay

the lamp worked well on the second shot, i just think the others are a bit dark.


Its my mates gti, rebuilt engine running 160 odd bhp Team Dynamic pro race 1.2's i think?

Will post new pics up once ive check them and burnt them in PS.

we used a ticket machine light haha.

Im not too sure on the thin one but i think it works? Might leave it original landscape as the sky's quite good, but makes the car small.
