Remap is all you need on them, theres a guy on ebay will do it for 100 quid if you send him the ecu.

You won't get more unless you spend more money, in which case might as well get a 130 and remap it to 170+.
Injectors, turbo, fmic intercooler are the starters afaik.

im halfway through buying a golf 110tdi as soon as i get it its going in for a remap.
my mate has a 110 leon with green cotton filter and an amd remap and is on 145.2bhp with 266.7ft lb torque and it is quick. another mate has a 130 with remap fmic etc and that 182bhp & 320ft lb torque iirc

It was a great remap imo.
Yes i know i could have got an extra 0.5bhp from getting a custom one and it may possibly have been a bit smoother.
I'm more than happy I got my 100 quids worth though.

its not what happens at peak bhp figures though, its what happens between 0rpm and peak.

I didn't say anything about peak figures
Wasn't near a rolling road with it to find out.
It gave me massive improvements from when I put my foot down right up to 4k rpm + and although I know a custom one is technically better I doubt it would be 400 quid better.
