Im soon to be buying a Canon 350D and it comes with a standard Canon lens.

Im interested in taking night shots and probably some action shots but wondered what the different lenses can do....

If anyone has pics of examples of these different lenses, please post 'em up!

Completely depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

A good start might be the 50mm prime lens, available for about 60 quid. Though for landscape images you probably won't want quite as much focal length as that.
