when im driving along the motorway, it gives a pretty accurate reading.
but town driving the needle is all over the place.
if i put my foot down my petrol goes down by about half.
if im sitting in traffic it goes down as well.
just wondering what the cause of this is...afm?
its a 1.2 16v

nothing to worry about, they all do it, as long as its not showing you a full tank wen youre actually on fumes then its ok, av found the only way to get dead on accurate reading is to be parked up on flat ground and sit for a min till it sorts itself, best to do it before setting off on a journey

also had this problem mine use 2 read full tank sorted itsself out some how

My Corsa did that, break and it would fly upto full, accelerate and it would go into the red,
I used just put some in when it stopped moving, mine used to stop moving about when it was empty
